Who we are

Qorbee is operated in Turkey by Yiğit Can Özdemir as a sole proprietor (şahıs işletmesi). For privacy questions, contact legal@qorbee.com.

Website visitors

This website has no account sign-up or contact form. Its code does not include analytics or advertising trackers and does not set cookies. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include so that we can respond.

Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request data, such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information, and the time of a visit, to deliver and protect it. Qorbee does not keep a separate visitor database or website access log.

Business customers

Qorbee provides a web application and backend that customers use to coordinate work with information from their connected systems. On a customer's behalf, we may process email, accounting records, documents, and information that users share through the service, including files and location updates when those features are used. Customers may also connect their own WhatsApp Business account and phone number through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which lets the service process connected messages on their behalf. We use customer data only to provide the service under the customer's instructions. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

Legal basis and roles

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR, Qorbee acts as a data processor for customer data. The customer is the data controller and determines the lawful basis for that processing. Qorbee acts as the data controller for website data and direct email correspondence. We process that data as needed to operate and secure the website and respond to inquiries, relying on applicable legitimate interests or other lawful grounds where required.

Service providers

The website and customer service use different infrastructure. We use these providers when their functions are needed:

• Vercel hosts this public website through its distributed network.
• Hetzner Online GmbH hosts the customer web application and backend in Helsinki, Finland. Files are stored in Qorbee-managed storage on that infrastructure; there is no separate file storage vendor.
• OpenAI API, Anthropic API (Claude), and TypeSafe AI API (Jev) process data sent to AI features when those features are enabled for a customer.
• Meta processes account and message data through the WhatsApp Business Platform when a customer connects its own account and phone number.

International transfers

Qorbee operates in Turkey. The customer application and files are hosted in Finland. If a customer enables AI features or connects WhatsApp Business, data sent to those services may be processed or stored outside Turkey and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. We assess the applicable transfer requirements with the customer before enabling a connection that sends personal data.

Retention

We retain customer data for the period needed to provide the service under the customer's instructions and contract, then delete or return it, unless law requires further retention. We keep direct email correspondence as needed to handle an inquiry and related legal obligations. Vercel handles technical request records for the hosted website under its own retention schedules; Qorbee does not keep a separate website access log.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access restrictions and secure transmission where supported by the service and its providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. These rights are provided under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR. Email us at legal@qorbee.com. For data held on a customer's behalf, we may refer your request to that customer and assist them in responding.

Data deletion

Email legal@qorbee.com with the subject "Data deletion" and the phone number or email address the data relates to. We will confirm the request and delete the relevant data within 30 days, subject to identity verification, the customer's instructions where we act as processor, and any legal retention requirement. We will explain if an exception applies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website, service, or legal duties change. We will post the revised policy here with a new last updated date.
